We believe in creating strong connections with family, friends, community, and nature. We started our business in 2012 with a deep desire to teach our three sons the value of self-reliance, perseverance, and service.

Together with our amazing artisans, we turn ‘urban logs’ (logs brought down by necessity, whether diseased, dead, or a danger) into custom furniture and solid wood fireplace mantels.

We offer traditional farmhouse designs full of rustic charm, contemporary tables with timeless elegance, and mid-century modern designs that are simple yet sophisticated.

From Tree to Table

We hated that we had to cut this tree down, and even worse was the thought that it would just be cut into firewood and burned. I contacted Avery at Wild Edge Woodcraft, and the rest is history! He picked up our logs and returned them to us as a jaw-dropping masterpiece that will be cherished for generations. All the wood used to create our table & benches is from our tree - with the exception of the walnut pegs holding the cross brace in place. He milled the logs, kiln-dried them, and then he & his team went to work on our one-of-a-kind work of art.”

“Avery and his crew have made some beautiful pieces for our new house. We wanted to capture the wood from some of the trees that we brought down back into the house, so Avery milled and kilned an oak and a hickory for us then made several shelves, mantel pieces and countertops for us. The 8' x 3' hickory table that is pictured is a stunning show piece- the pictures can't do it justice.
